A restaurant is closed after a car hit a building in New Lebanon Saturday evening.

Officers and medics were dispatched to the China Dragon just after 7 p.m. Saturday night on initial reports of a car hitting a building, according to dispatchers.
A new driver was attempting to park the car when it jumped the parking blocks in front of the business and came to rest against the front wall, New Lebanon Police wrote on its social media page.
Images from New Lebanon Police show damage to the building and one of the windows.
No injuries were reported.
The restaurant is closed until a structural engineer evaluates the building and necessary repairs are made, the police said.
The Dixie Thrift located next to the restaurant will not be affected and is operating under normal business hours.
