Richmond police seeking information on missing woman found dead in vehicle

RICHMOND, INDIANA — The Richmond Police Department is seeking information regarding a missing woman who was found dead in a vehicle Saturday.

Amanda Reece, 27, was reported missing to Richmond police on July 26, according to a press release by the police department.

She was last seen by her family on July 23.

On July 28, police were dispatched to Needler’s Fresh Market for a reported deceased person in a vehicle, according to the release.

The victim was determined to be Reece.

No evidence of trauma was found, according to the release.

The Wayne County Coroner transported Reece to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office after a preliminary investigation, read the release.

A toxicology report is pending.
