LEBANON — A planned riot at the Warren County Jail was prevented when multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the jail around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday evening, according to a release from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

- Lebanon officers and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers from the Lebanon Post assisted the sheriff's office
- The riot was planned for 6 p.m., according to our Cincinnati news partner WCPO

Deputies said the riot was planned by a group of inmates but officers “brought the incident to conclusion before there was any act of violence,” according to jail administrator Brett Richardson.
The Lebanon, Mason and Morrow police departments assisted deputies in the quick response to the jail in Lebanon.
