CLAY TWP. — A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Clay Twp. early Friday morning, according to state troopers.
The crash happened on North Diamond Mill Road at Upper Lewisburg Salem Road around 2:35 a.m. Friday, according to state troopers at the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The driver, identified as Aaron Burr Gagnier Jr., 24, of Brookville, was pronounced dead at the scene, state troopers said in a media release.
Gagnier was driving a Chevy car traveling north on North Diamond Mill Road when the car went off the side of the road, crashed into a utility pole, and overturned.
North Diamond Mill Road was closed through a portion of the early morning while the crash was investigated.
Gagnier was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, state troopers said.
