FRANKLIN — UPDATE @ 3 p.m.:
Franklin police have released surveillence pictures of a man who investigators said robbed the pharmacy at Walgreens Thursday morning.
Police responded around 11:30 a.m. to the business on East Second Street after employees reported the robbery.
Police said a man entered the store and indicated he had a weapon.

Officers did not indicate what the man got away with, but said a pharmacist complied with the robber’s demand. The man was last seen on foot leaving the area heading south on Eastlawn Drive, according to investigators.
The suspect is described as a man around 6-feet tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white pants.

Franklin police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to the robbery of a drug store.
The suspect robbed an East Second Street Walgreens pharmacy around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
While no weapon was shown, the suspect did indicate that he had a weapon, according to police.
The suspect fled on foot and was last seen south on Eastlawn Drive.
A K-9 unit was reportedly brought in to track the suspect, but the K-9 lost the trail.
The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, thin and wearing a black hoodie with white pants and tennis shoes.

UPDATE @ 12:14 p.m.:
Law enforcement are searching for a male suspect who robbed a Franklin Walgreens Thursday.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, according to reports.
No one was injured.
INITIAL REPORT:
A robbery was reported at a Franklin drug store late Thursday morning.
Law enforcement responded to a Walgreens at 1300 E. Second St. around 11:40 a.m.
Initial reports indicate that no weapon was shown.
