OAKWOOD — The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is set to debut its new “Proudly Serving Oakwood” bus this weekend.

It will debut the bus at the “That Day in May” festival this Saturday.
“We are very excited to see the Oakwood RTA bus begin its routes through our Oakwood community and the greater Dayton region,” said Oakwood City Manager Norbert Klopsch.
The Oakwood bus features pictures of Smith Gardens, Oakwood High School, the city building, and shops of Oakwood, according to RTA spokesperson.
After its debut, the bus will go into regular service throughout Montgomery County on Sunday.
That Day in May community parade will take place at 12 p.m. Saturday along Shafor Boulevard in Oakwood.
