The Flyer extends hours, provides free transportation to Dayton’s ‘Lights in Flight’ festival

The Greater Dayton RTA is extending the hours of The Flyer service to allow firework attendees to use the free ciculator route as a transportation option to and from the holiday festival in downtown.

The Flyer will operate from 6 a.m. to midnight on July 3. Due to street closures, The Flyer will run on a special detour route beginning at 9 a.m.

After the fireworks end, several RTA Flyer buses will wait for passengers northbound on Patterson Avenue, between Second and Third streets, limiting wait times.
