DAYTON — The Greater Dayton RTA is helping to make sure that community members are able to attend events on Martin Luther King Jr. Day by offering free rides.
On Monday, January 17 rides on all RTA fixed-route buses and RTA Connect paratransit services will be free.

RTA will run its normal service schedule with the exception of Route 22, which will not run, and Route 43, which will have a reduced service. The Flyer will run on its regular weekday services.
There may be service delays and rolling route deviations between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day march along Third Street and the downtown Dayton corridor, according to a release.

The RTA Customer Service Call Center will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to take customer calls and reservations for Connect Paratransit.
