DAYTON — The Greater Dayton RTA announced it is temporarily scaling back services due to COVID-19 starting today.
RTA said this to “balance a reduction in manpower availability due to pressures from increased absenteeism and lower ridership associated with ongoing the COVID-19 pandemic.”

This reduction will result in most routes, excluding 22, 43, 55, and the Flyer, operating on a Saturday service schedule six days a week, Monday through Saturday, RTA said.
“This will reduce frequencies on many routes and require less bus drivers to operate. This change is due to reduced staff available to drive bus routes and support RTA’s operations due to increased COVID cases in our service area,” RTA said.
