Rumpke cancels Friday pickup due to weather

MIAMI VALLEY — Rumpke Waste & Recycling is canceling their services in the Miami Valley for Friday, February 4, due to the winter storm.

“Safety is always our first consideration when we think about our business,” Jake Rumpke, Region Vice President for Rumpke, said. “The safety of our employees and the communities we service was the driving force behind our decision.”

Counties impacted by the cancellation include:

• Auglaize
• Champaign
• Clark
• Clinton
• Darke
• Greene
• Logan
• Mercer
• Miami
• Montgomery
• Preble
• Shelby

Rumpke will attempt to pickup for customers with Friday service on Saturday, February 5.

Saturday collection will depend on the weather and road conditions.
