Safety top priority for students at new high school in Fairborn

FAIRBORN — Students are returning to class at a new high school in Fairborn.

As reported Tuesday on News Center 7 Daybreak, there are many upgrades with the new building.

Superintendent Gene Lolli said safety was the top priority.

He told News Center 7 that one of the safety measures in the new school was placing three sets of doors between the academic wings and the outside.

Lolli says the goal is to make students safer and hopes they notice the changes.

“I hope they notice the state-of-the-art academic wing, the state-of-the-art security cameras, the beautiful performing arts center that is state-of-the-art.

Lolli also said that Fairborn High School added a 2,100-seat arena.
