DAYTON — A second area Dollar General store was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon.
Dayton police responded around 2 p.m. to the store at 888 S. Gettysburg Ave. after employees reported the robbery.

Initial reports indicate a man wearing a baseball-style hat entered the store and displayed a gun before fleeing on foot.
The robbery at the Dayton store occurred about an hour after a robbery at a Dollar General store in Clayton.
It is not clear whether the armed robberies are connected.
