HARRISON TWP. — Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a Harrison Twp. gas station was targeted by another robber Thursday about 24 hours after the station was first robbed at gunpoint.

Deputies were dispatched to the Marathon station at 3905 North Main Street Thursday around 6:50 a.m. after the robbery was reported.

A black male, about 6’0 tall and wearing all black with a red mask partially covering his face, showed a handgun and demanded money, according to the sheriff’s office.

Dispatch records indicate the man fit a similar description as a robber who targeted the store Wednesday morning.

An Ohio State Highway Patrol K-9 officer at the scene tracked to about 100 feet south of the gas station, where the track was ended.

No injuries have been initially reported.
