UPDATE: NB I-75 reopens in Dayton after earlier crash involving semi

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 7:45 a.m.

All lanes of northbound I-75 have reopened near the state Route 4 exit ramp after an earlier crash involving a semitrailer.

Ohio Department of Transportation cameras show traffic is now moving in all northbound lanes. Police are still blocking the exit ramp to North Main Street for the crash investigation.

FIRST REPORT

Crews are on the scene of a semi-truck trailer crash on Interstate 75 northbound in Dayton.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch tells us crews were called to a crash on I-75 NB near the State Route 4 exit just after 4:00 a.m.

Traffic camera footage shows a large backup forming on the highway just south of the reported scene.

As of 7:23 a.m., the interstate is still closed at SR-4 and Keowee Street.
