DAYTON — The semi involved in a deadly crash on Interstate 75 in Dayton last week came from out of state and was heading to Canada.

The truck was coming from Georgia and heading to Ontario when it rolled off Northbound I-75 near the entrance ramp to Stanley Avenue on June 1.
The semi was also hauling white clay used to make paper, paint, and many other products, a Dayton Police spokesperson told News Center 7.

Jason and Ricky Loyer died in the crash.
Crews shut down the northbound lanes of I-75 for about nine hours while they cleaned up the crash.
