Beavercreek Police officers and medics were dispatched around 7:08 p.m. on initial reports of a semi on its side around Northbound Interstate 675 at Colonel Glenn Highway, Beavercreek Police dispatchers told NewsCenter 7.

The left two northbound lanes were initially closed to help emergency responders clear the highway.

The Ohio Department of Transportation’s traffic cameras showed a commercial semi-truck on its side in the grassy median.

News Center 7 Reporter Taylor Robertson said crews took items from the overturned vehicle and placed them into another semi.

The right lane remained open to allow for the movement of traffic.

The lanes were later reopened Monday overnight at around 2:45 a.m. after responding teams were able to tow away the overturned semi and clear any debris from the road.

Wreckers were also at the scene.

News Center 7 reached out to policing agencies to learn if there were any injuries. We also inquired about what the truck was carrying. We update this story as it develops.
