DARKE COUNTY — UPDATE @ 8:50 p.m.:
Wilbur Miller, 75, of Goshen, Indiana died from his injuries after his semi struck a tree Monday, Dark County Sheriff's Office said.

Crews had to mechanically extricate Miller. He died at the scene.
Miller’s semi went off the right side of the roadway, traveling in a ditch on North Star Ft. Loramie East of Rismiller Road. He drove back on the road, over-corrected, and drove back off the right side of the road. Miller then struck a tree, according to the sheriff’s office.
The accident is under investigation by the sheriff’s office.

The driver of a semi involved in a crash on North Star Fort Loramie Road this morning has died, according to authorities.
INITIAL REPORT:
A semi driver has reportedly suffered serious injuries following a rollover crash on North Star Fort Loramie Road in Darke County Monday morning.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of North Star Fort Loramie Road at Friend Road, just east of the village of North Star around 11 a.m.
A medical helicopter was requested to the scene, but was unable to fly due to the weather conditions.
