1 seriously hurt, 1 arrested after motorcycle crash in Clayton

CLAYTON — UPDATE @2:25 a.m.

A man suffered serious injuries and another was arrested after a motorcycle crash in Clayton Monday night.

Clayton Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) troopers were dispatched at 10:34 p.m. on Westbrook Road near Afton Drive on reports of an injury crash, according to an OSHP spokesperson.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2013 Buick was traveling westbound on Westbrook Road when the driver failed to yield while attempting to turn left onto Hillary Street. It got struck by a 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle going eastbound on Westbrook.

Medics transported the motorcycle driver, a 75-year-old man, to Miami Valley Hospital with a serious injury, the spokesperson said.

Troopers arrested the Buick driver, a 34-year-old man, on suspicion of OVI. He was incarcerated in Montgomery County Jail pending formal charges.

Serious injuries were reported after a crash involving a motorcycle in Clayton Monday night.

Around 10:20 p.m. Clayton police and Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the area of Afton and Westbrook roads for reports of an injury crash, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Troopers confirmed that the crash was between a motorcycle and a car.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash.
