Flash Flood Watch issued for parts of the Miami Valley; Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues

A Flood Advisory is in effect for Wayne, Darke, and Preble County till 3:15 a.m.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for most of the region tonight. The watch is in effect for Auglaize, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby counties until 9 a.m. Saturday.

A separate Flash Flood Watch goes is in effect for Butler, Clark, Champaign, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Warren, and Wayne (Ind.) counties through noon Saturday.

DETAILED FORECAST:

TONIGHT: The chance for severe weather continues tonight with storms capable of damaging winds, tornadoes, large hail, and heavy rain that can cause flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the whole region through parts of Saturday. A Tornado Watch is in effect for the whole region until 11 p.m.

Rain chances continue through the overnight hours with lows falling to around 70 degrees.

SATURDAY: Warm temperatures continue along with some passing showers early. There will be another slight chance for a pop-up storm in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

SUNDAY: Sunshine and scattered clouds. Clouds increase towards evening. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms may pop up in the evening. Highs in the upper 80s.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and few thunderstorms. Still warm and muggy with highs in the lower 80s.

TUESDAY: Chance of an early morning shower then drying out with decreasing clouds. Less humid and cooler with highs in the lower 70s.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Mild with low humidity and below-average temperatures. Highs in the lower 70s.
