Michelle Alferez said they have been to almost every Sheetz grand opening in the Miami Valley and she enjoys being among the excitement.
“There’s usually this many people at every one we been to so far. There’s always a lot of people. The first one in Huber, I think, was a lot more,” Alferez said.
The Sheetz is located along County Road 25-A, a stretch of road connecting Piqua and Troy without a gas station.

Sheetz is also eyeing opening up in Centerville, despite some pushback from Centerville City Council.

Sheetz Community Engagement Specialist Rebecca Bunnell said the company still has its eye on more stores in the Dayton area.
“We’re definitely expanding in Dayton. That’s our next area. We would really want to take a big focus and open up a lot of stores in this area,” Bunnell said.
