HAMILTON — He may be just a puppy, but Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones offers high praise for the newest member of his staff.
“Say hello to Thunder! He’s the storm that will be rolling into the Butler County Jail,” Jones posted on his Twitter account.
The sheriff also thanked the Matt Haverkamp Foundation, which he said provided funding for the K-9.
The foundation was established in November 2005 in memory of the Cincinnati-area police officer and K-9 handler who was killed in a car crash.
