UPDATE @ 3:55 p.m.:

Sheriff Rob Streck said the shooting death of Kevin Snowden is the third violent incident at Creekside Homes, which is the former Northland Village Apartments, since the tornadoes tore through Harrison Twp. on Memorial Day.

Streck told News Center 7’s Mike Campbell he’s planning to institute a no-tolerance policy for people that don’t live at the development or have a good reason to be there.

“If you’re in there and you don't need to be in there, we’ll trespass you and get you out of there,” Streck said.

One woman said she didn’t think that practice would be effective.

“I know it’s not going to work for me,” said Shyanna Taube. “I’ll still be coming here regardless, because I haven’t done anything.”

Streck said Creekside Homes recently upgraded technology, placing cameras around the complex.

The sheriff said detectives do have some good leads to follow in Sunday night’s shooting.
