Victim identified in reported Christmas shooting in Dayton

DAYTON — UPDATE 6:30 p.m.:

The shooting victim that arrived at Grandview Medical Center on Christmas has been identified as 25-year-old Temperanace A. Hayes.

Hayes was discharged from Grandview in the past 48 hours, according to hospital officials.

She was reportedly shot at early Christmas morning while inside a vehicle, according to scanner traffic.

A bullet went through the passenger side taillight and the back of the vehicle, according to a Dayton police report.

This incident is still under investigation.

Police are investigating after a shooting victim showed up early Christmas morning at Grandview Medical Center.

A gunshot victim arrived just before 1 a.m. at the hospital, located at 405 W. Grand Ave. in Dayton, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

The victim’s condition was not immediately released.
