Shrine Rd. closed after crash in Springfield Twp.; Area power outage reported

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is on the scene of a crash that caused Shrine Road to close near Whitestone Road in Springfield Township.

Dispatchers with OSHP tell us crews were sent to the scene around 4:24 a.m. on the report of a single-vehicle crash.

The occupants of the vehicle were not injured, according to dispatch.

Ohio Edison crews are on the scene working to restore power.

As of 7:35 a.m., 165 Ohio Edison customers in Springfield Township have been affected according to their website.
