Officers found Brianna Wilson, 27, of Sidney and found that she had been stabbed numerous times, according to a release from Police Chief William Balling.

Wilson was taken to Wilson Health, where she died from her injuries.

Riley Barger, 20, who also lived at the Fourth Ave. address was taken into custody. He’s charged with voluntary manslaughter and his bond was set at $150,000.

Wilson and Barger were in an argument, which escalated into a fight that led to Barger stabbing Wilson, police told News Center 7

Wilson was previously indicted after she was accused of shooting a man in November outside an East South Street apartment. Police said the shooting and stabbing are not connected.
