Already, salt trucks are out on the roads trying to combat the slick spots before the roads get too busy.
Some schools have already announced closings or delays this morning due to road conditions.
When determining whether to close or delay, Beavercreek City Schools Superintendent Paul Otten told News Center 7 that they take the schools buildings themselves as well as the roads students travel into consideration.
“We’re more concerned about the student being in their garage waiting to see the bus. And as the bus is pulling up, they are running from their house,” Otten said. “So we know when they’re running. There may be slick spots.”
