ALLIANCE — Snow tracks help led police to arresting a man after a fight with his girlfriend.

Alliance Police said the suspect trespassed into a room during the early morning hours on Jan. 3, according to our news partner WOIO in Cleveland.

The suspect is accused of stealing eight cans of Miller High Life Beer, according to Alliance Police.
Alliance Police posted video of the arrest on social media.
He ran away, but officers tracked his footprints in the snow back to an apartment, WOIO said.
“The only time we appreciate the snow!” the department said on its Facebook page.
Alliance Police said the suspect, D’Joure Corvel Hawkins, 24, was taken into custody based on:
- The trail leading back to the home
- The trail leading back to the home.
- The matching shoe size of the suspect and the tracks in the snow.
- Visible wet footprints in the kitchen area of the equipment.
- The suspect’s wet socks in the corner of the room.
Hawkins told officers he got into a fight with his girlfriend and was bored, Alliance Police said.
The eight cans of Miller High Life were found in the backpack, WOIO reported.
