DETAILED FORECAST
Overnight: Steady snow will taper through the overnight hours, but a lingering flurry or snow shower will still be possible, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Winds will be gusty at times near 25 to 35 mph. Icy spots on the roads are likely as temperatures drop into the lower 20s with wind chills briefly dipping into the single digits by morning.

Thursday: Some slippery roads are expected to start the day. School delays already are reported, and cancellations also are possible. It will be chilly with temperatures starting in the 20s. A cold northwest wind will linger at 25 to 35 mph through the day. This could keep flurries or some snow showers off Lake Michigan around but it won't have a big affect, though. Highs only reach the low 30s. The wind chill will range from the single digits to teens throughout the day. A quick burst of snow may pass through the southern Miami Valley in the evening.
Friday: It will be mostly cloudy and cold again with highs in the lower 30s. A few additional snow showers south of Dayton are possible into the afternoon. Clouds break into the night and temperatures drop into the teens.
Saturday: After a chilly start in the upper teens, temperatures will rise to the low 30s.
Sunday: Expect a dry and cold morning, but temperatures will climb to the 40s during the day. Clouds increase and some rain showers arrive at night.
Monday: Rain showers are likely, along with breezy and mild conditions with highs in the middle 50s.
