In effect until July 30, Montgomery County residents impacted by the recent tornadoes will experience a 20 percent reduction in disposal costs only.
The reduction cost is due to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) agreeing to waive the State disposal fee of $4.75 per ton and Montgomery County waiving the solid waste generation fee of $3.00 per ton.
