DAYTON — St. Anne’s Hill Historic District will host a festive outdoor tour, Holiday on the Hill, from 4-8 p.m. today.
Holiday on the Hill was planned last month after the neighborhood organizing committee oped to postpone the biannual Dickens of Christmas Holiday Home Tour to 2022, according to a release.

“Dickens of a Christmas is an event we all love here in St Anne’s,” said David Obenour, one of the event’s organizers, in the release. “Postponing it was a hard decision but we knew we wouldn’t want to compromise the things that make it so special.”
The self-guided tour will have holiday-decorated Victorian-style homes, volunteers telling stories from their porches and local businesses open late.
Fifth Street Brewpub will be bottling a Holiday on the Hill barleywine specifically for the night.

Other local businesses in the area will also be offering specials and the Dayton Liederkranz-Turner will be throwing their annual Christkindlmarkt.
