UPDATE: Mason teens, subjects of statewide missing child alerts, found safe in Michigan

MASON — UPDATE @ 9 a.m. (March 21):

Police have cancelled the statewide Endangered Missing Child Alerts for two Mason teens after they were found safe, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Both Audrey Renaud and Amir Ghohestani were found safe in Michigan, a spokesperson for the Ohio AG’s Office said in an updated alert.

Additional details were not available.

FIRST REPORT (March 18):

The Mason Police Department has issued an Endangered Missing Child Alert for two missing children last seen in Mason.

Audrey Renaud and Amir Ghohestani were both last seen March 16 on an unknown street in Mason, in a silver 2005 Honda Accord with Ohio license plate JLJ7154, according to the alert.

Renaud, who also goes by Alec, is described as a 16-year-old female who is 5′5″ tall, weighs 148 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes.

Ghohestani, is described as a 17-year-old male who is 5′9″ tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Ghohestani was last seen wearing a black hoodie.

Law enforcement said they are concerned for the teenagers’ safety.
