Several schools and businesses are closed today as an impactful winter storm moves through the Miami Valley and Southern Ohio.

Schools across the area, including Dayton Public Schools, Trotwood-Madison City Schools, Springfield City Schools, Fairborn City Schools, Oakwood City Schools and Xenia Community Schools are closed on Tuesday.
Troy City Schools and Tipp City Schools are on a two-hour delay on Tuesday.
“We will continue to monitor the road conditions into early Tuesday morning,” Troy City Schools said in a social media post.
“If the district must be closed, a decision will be made by 7:30 a.m.,” Tipp City Schools said in a social media post.
Several schools have also canceled all evening activities scheduled for Tuesday.
