Storm damage, power outages leave businesses closed

DAYTON — Several businesses and churches were closed throughout Miami Valley in the wake of severe storm damage and power outages.

Reports of damaged structures have come in from Montgomery County communities after tornadoes ripped through a swath of area from Brookville to Trotwood, Butler and Harrison townships, Riverside and parts of Dayton.

In Dayton in the 1500 block of Springfield Street, the roof is gone from Dayton Creative Printing, co-owner Sanda Cottrill said.

United Rehabilitation Services at 4710 Troy Pike in Dayton is going to be closed today because the power is out.
