LAKEVILLE, Mass. — Officials said they have determined what led to 80 Amazon packages being discovered in a wooded area.

On Monday, Dec. 23, an Amazon driver visited the Lakeville Police Department in Massachusetts and reported that they left the packages on the side of the road “because they were stressed,” police said in a release, our news partners at Boston25 reported.

The driver told police they plan to report the incident to Amazon management, officials say.
Boston 25 News reported that Lakeville police returned the packages to an Amazon distribution center in Middleboro, after finding them at 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Criminal charges are not being sought, according to police.
