The student was found in the high school with no weapons.
There was evidence located from the male student that linked him to the post, Chief Deputy Michael Young confirmed.
The student was charged with one count of making a terroristic threat and placed in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
“We appreciate the assistance of the FBI and I’d like to acknowledge the swift actions of our safety team and the high school administration to ensure the safety of our students and staff was immediately addressed,” Superintendent Paula Crew said in a statement.
