RIVERSIDE — A local school district is preparing to kick off a summer program that will provide lunches to children.
The Mad River Local Schools Food Service Department will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Starting June 5, lunch will be served to all children without charge.
Meals will be served each day at Stebbins High School from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. They will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service,” a district spokesperson said while noting that lunches will be the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
The program runs through June 23.
