Deputies respond to multi-vehicle crash in Washington Twp.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — Deputies responded to a multi-vehicle crash in Washington Township late Sunday evening.

Washington Township deputies and firefighters were dispatched to the 9800 block of Mandel Drive at 11:41 p.m. on reports of an injury crash, Montgomery County Regional Dispatch said.

News Center 7 previously reported that a male suspect was seen fleeing from the scene; however, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office clarified Monday morning that no one fled the scene and the driver was cited following the crash.

The Washington Township substation of Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation into the crash.
