DAYTON — A suspect connected to at least seven aggravated robberies was arrested in Dayton on Monday, according to a spokesperson from the Dayton Police Department.

Dayton police noticed a possible suspect car connected to these robberies near W 3rd Street and Upland Avenue on Dec. 16.

Officers stopped the car for window tint and loud muffler violations around 8 p.m.
The officer noticed several pieces of clothing worn by the suspect, matching the clothing seen in a video of a robbery.
The suspect, who was a passenger in the car, had a firearm on him that was stolen from another jurisdiction, according to the spokesperson.
Body camera video of the arrest shows an officer removing the firearm from the suspect’s waistband.
Officers arrested the driver and passenger.
They were both transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
