SWAT, hostage negotiation team called to Dayton home

DAYTON — SWAT was called to a Dayton home Monday afternoon.

Dayton police were originally called to the home in the first block of York Avenue around 5 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Information about the nature of the call was not available.

Around 7:30 p.m. our News Center 7 crew reported the street blocked off by police and SWAT as well as Hostage Negotiation Team vehicles were on the scene.
