‘Teal Pumpkin Project’ to help Trick-or-treaters with food allergies stay safe

The “Teal Pumpkin Project” was created to make trick-or-treating safer for the one in 13 children living with food allergies.

Placing a teal pumpkin on your doorstep can show in addition to candy, you offer non-food alternatives, according to Foodallergy.org.

Those alternatives could include small toys, stickers, or games.
