MIAMI COUNTY — A juvenile driver was injured in a single-car crash in Miami County Sunday afternoon.
According to Lt. Todd Tennant, with the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, the female driver was on Calumet Road, near Ludlow Falls, when she drove through a curve on the roadway and crashed a blue Ford Focus into a tree. The crash was reported at approximately 4:12 p.m.

The driver was trapped in the car due to the damage on the driver’s side of the car. Tennant said crews on scene needed to extricate her from the car through the passenger’s side.
The driver was transported to an area hospital. Tennant said her injuries were non-life threatening.
