AKRON — Investigators believe a 19-year-old was attacked and held in a basement at a home in Akron, according to Cleveland CBS-affiliate WOIO.

The teenager was lured to a home by people whom she considered to be her friends, Capt. Michael Miller with Akron police told WOIO.
She told investigators three people held her captive and violently attacked her, CBS-affiliate WOIO reported.

“It is very humiliating, very traumatizing we imagine for this young woman this victim. Very disappointing too that the people involved would commit this crime,” Miller told WOIO.
Police told WEWS the attackers recorded the assault and posted it online.
The girl was able to run away after she was attacked and her clothes ripped off, according to WEWS.
A 911 caller noticed the girl walking down the street naked and stopped to help, according to WEWS.
WOIO reports investigators arrested 19-year-old Kendall Worthy but others involved could face charges.
