The station is a country music station in the Miami Valley, but Wilson has a lot of industry connections in Nashville, including friends and artists.
“It’s where our heart is,” she said.
The city has a lot of rebuilding to do after tornadoes swept through the area early Tuesday.
The storms killed 25 people as of the latest count Wednesday night, compared to one death in the Miami Valley during the Memorial Day Tornadoes.

“I’m grateful that Mccall [Vrydaghs] did what she did on the air to make sure that the Miami Valley folks were safe, what Cheryl [McHenry] did when she was on the air, not that they didn’t do that down in Nashville,” Wilson said. “But for the grace of God, that could have been Dayton.”
Wilson anticipates musicians will host a benefit concert in Nashville soon.
