GREENE COUNTY — UPDATE @ 8:50 a.m.:
Power has been restored to most AES Ohio customers in Greene County Tuesday morning after an initial outage knocked out power to thousands.
As of 8:50 a.m., only five outages are reported in Greene County, according to an AES Ohio online outage map. At the height of the outage, nearly 3,400 customers were without power.
Additional details were not available.
UPDATE @ 7:40 a.m.:
As of 7:40 a.m. 1,799 AES Ohio customers in Greene County are without power.
We are continuing to monitor the outages and learn what is causing them.

Thousands of AES Ohio customers are without power in Greene County Tuesday morning.

At last check, 3,389 customers were without power in the county.
Some of the outages are being reported in the Beavercreek area near Grange Hall Road and Dayton-Xenia Road.
