FRANKLIN COUNTY — Ten newborn puppies are recovering after they were left out in 19-degree temperatures in Franklin County.

The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center shared a photo on social media of ten newborn puppies left in a box on the side of a road in 19-degree temperatures.

“Newborn puppies are incredibly vulnerable at this stage of their lives, and thanks to the quick actions of a compassionate Good Samaritan and our dedicated team, these newborn babies are off the streets, out of the cold and have a fighting chance at life,” the shelter said in a post on Facebook.
After just one week of being in the care the shelter, the “Morse Road Miracle Pups” are thriving, according to the shelter.
