UPDATE @ 9:30 p.m.:
A semitrailer drove off the right side of I-70 East earlier Thursday evening and struck an overhead sign and guardrail, bringing the sign crashing onto the roadway, a spokesman with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The downed sign is continuing to block the eastbound lanes at 9:30 p.m. Englewood police and Clayton firefighters are working with the state patrol to detour eastbound drivers off the interstate and onto state Route 48. They also are allowing drivers to go the wrong way on the entrance ramp to the interstate, Patterson reports.
The Ohio Department of Transportation is working to remove the sign and repair the guardrail. The eastbound lanes have been closed for more than 5 hours.
Troopers from the Dayton Post have determined that Michael Coffman, 45, of Oak Hill, was driving the semi that hit the objects. Coffman was not injured.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred in Butler Twp., Montgomery County, near the exit to Dayton International Airport.
INITIAL REPORT
A crash on I-70 East near the Dayton International Airport exit has shut down traffic in the eastbound lanes until further notice.
The crash broadcast on police-fire scanners about 5:45 p.m. is believed to involve multiple vehicles, including a semitrailer.
A spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Transportation said the semi struck a sign.
Traffic is being diverted onto State Route 48 in Englewood, according to the state patrol.
