LONE TREE, Colo. — Body camera footage shows a Colorado police officer using a kid’s bike to chase a suspect on an electric scooter.

Officers in Lone Tree, Colorado were trying to arrest a suspect who had just committed a felony theft when the suspect took off running, according to the city’s Facebook page.
Police said the suspect jumped several fences and stole a kid’s motorized scooter.

Officer Jacob Tarr was not near his squad car and had to find another way to catch up to the suspect, so he borrowed a child’s bike.
“The suspect might‘ve had a scooter, but Officer Tarr had determination, and a kid’s bike,” the post reads.
The suspect was taken into custody and charged with felony theft, and it was determined the suspect had three outstanding warrants,
