EATON — A judge has rescheduled a trial for a Preble County businessman.

Ernest Hatmaker’s trial on child porn charges was supposed to start Monday.
As previously reported by News Center 7, the Eaton businessman was arrested back in May and charged in connection to a nearly two-year-long child pornography investigation.

Prosecutors had asked for the trial to be pushed back because one of their witnesses was not available to come to Eaton to testify next week.
As of right now, the court has not set a new trial date.

Preble County deputies and prosecutors are now handling the criminal case.
