Trial scheduled for former Centerville teacher accused of sexual battery involving student

The trial for a former Centerville High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student in 2017 is scheduled to start next month.

Samuel Glenn, 30, is charged with one count of sexual battery. The alleged victim was 18 at the time and a senior at Centerville High School.

After his final pre-trial hearing Thursday, Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Greg Flannagan it appears the trial will go forward as scheduled on March 9.

Glenn joined the U.S. Army after losing his teaching job in 2017.
