MIAMI VALLEY — Halloween won’t feature the best forecast this year. Unlike Tuesday night, which was dry and pleasant, rain returns Wednesday. A stalled boundary will lay out today and keep the threat for rounds of rain Wednesday through Friday morning.
Here’s what you need to know if you’re making plans to head out with the kids:
TEMPERATURES:
- Low 60s to start
- Losing the sun and having rain around means it will feel cool.
- Temperatures will drop into the middle 50s.
- 6:36 p.m.
RAIN:
Showers will be scattered by the evening hours. This means some cities, mainly north and west Dayton, could see lighter activity than others. Make sure to have rain gear ready. Expect puddles and wet grass when walking through neighborhoods. Showers will reduce visibility for drivers to trick-or-treaters should be extra careful walking around.
STORMS:
The threat for severe storms or storms in general is low. Keep an ear out for thunder just in case but most will be impacted by showers and breezy conditions tonight.
